Physical Science A
Bellwork:
1. How do we rate sound based on our human perception?
2. What is the frequency range that a typical human can hear?
3. What term is used in relation to the amount of energy in a wave? If you stand further from the source what do you know about the amount of energy the reaches you?
Discuss Light.
Go over and check the homework. Discuss any problem questions.
HW: One page on which form of electromagnetic waves has the biggest impact on your life.
Physical Science B
Bellwork:
1. What are examples of density dependent factors?
2. What are examples of density independent factors?
3. A tornado wipes out a section of woods near a city, causing a dramatic decline in the numbers of wildlife present, would this be considered density(independent or dependent)?
We will work on the assignment as groups.
Secondly, we will begin to organize the material for the trimester. Tomorrow I will have reviews and the availability of the ecology test if you would like.
HW: finish the packet, begin to study for the exam, and lastly, make a list of things that you would like to go over in class, a "needs list, not wants(because you don't feel like looking up)"
