Physical Science B

Go over Syllabus. Go over expectations and rules.

Make sure that you can open up the text book on your computer.  If you can't, get if fixed today!  We will have frequent quizzes and assignments that will require you to use the book at home.

Make sure that you can log into examview. 

Be sure to buy 3 dry erase markers over the weekend. 

Hand out and explain the objectives and vocabulary.

Begin Electrostatics. 

Discuss Atomic Structure.

Objectives:
    1.  Understand the general structure of an atom.

    2.  Be able to identify the number of proton, electrons, and neutrons for a given atom using the atomic     number and mass number.

HW:  Read Chapter 18 section 1 and all of chapter 7.  Please take notes on the chapter.  Secondly, please answer the questions on page 199.  These will be checked on monday.  Lastly, we will have a short reading quiz on monday.  Plan on quizzes twice a week.  Usually Mondays and Thursdays.

Juniors, see you after your meeting.

Over the weekend please read Chapter 20 in the text.  Take notes on the material.  Additionally, please answer the questions on pages 545 and 553.
