Physical Science A

No Bellwork today.

Please go to my blog and open up the notes on mechanical advantage.  Take the notes of the note sheet.  When you have finished, please do the math problems on mechanical advantage.  You need to do 1-14.  

When you have finished please read chapter  and answer the questions on pages 128, 130, and 131.  Do all the questions including the math!

HW:  I will check the math problems and the book problems tomorrow.

Physical Science B

Hand in the Analogy Assignment from yesterday. 

Please pick up the food chain and food web activity.  In this activity you will use the pictures to create a food chain and a food web. 

You will need to picture sheets.  First cut out all the pictures on just one of the picture sheets.  Flip them all upside down. Pick six on the pictures and do you best to create a food chain from the six pictures.  You may not be able to use all six.  Glue the pictures onto a blank sheet of paper and draw in the arrows to represent the flow of energy. 

For the food web, cut out all the pictures on the second sheet.  Now arrange them in such a way that will allow you to create a food web that will incorporate all the pictures.  Glue these onto a blank sheet of paper and then draw in all of the arrows to represent the flow of energy. 

Answer the questions on the packet.  You will hand in the questions and the glued pictures. 

Secondly, there is a food chain and food web worksheet.  Please pick this up when you are done and work on this as well. 

Lastly, your vocabulary needs to be finished by tomorrow.

I will check and pick up the vocab., food chain/food web pictures and questions, and the food chain/food web worksheet tomorrow.
